Inclusive Excellence Pedagogy

This two-day workshop is designed to equip faculty with practices that will increase their effectiveness in reaching diverse students in the classroom. Presenters will discuss strategies by which to increase the academic success of underserved students, promote an inclusive classroom, and structure assignments and assessments into the course that provide deep insight into student learning. Students will share their stories of both the challenges they faced and the successes they achieved in the classroom. Highly interactive and energized conversations with colleagues will drive the sessions. The expected outcome is an enhanced academic experience for all students.

Participants will receive a $300 stipend with a developed action plan for course revisions.
