90 Second Elevator Pitch Contest

The Alta Resources CEI and UWO-CEO club collaboratively hold an annual competition for students to pitch their business ideas. Student businesses can vary from a concept that has been recently developed to an operating business in need of capital. A Grand Prize of $1,000 is awarded each year by the Alta Resources CEI. Along with the prize money, local investors are invited to attend as well in hopes of great student businesses being awarded more funding.

Culver's Business Model Contest

The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation holds an annual business concept competition. Students must test and develop their business concept using the assistance and resources provided by the Center of Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Participants are then given the opportunity to present their business to a panel of entrepreneurs, CEO's, venture capitalists, angel investors, and executives.

The 4th Annual Culver's Business Model Contest took place on Wednesday, November 16th at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. We had 9 contestants present their business models to a panel of high-level judges, including Craig Culver, while competing for seed funding and a variety of in-kind services valued at up to $32,000!

Each contestant had 4 minutes to present their business, followed by 2 minutes of Q&A with the judges. The top 3 winners each received seed money, in-kind services, and an automatic bid into the Accelerator Program.
