Truancy Intervention Program (TIP)
TIP is designed to assist habitually truant middle and high school students in returning to school with regular attendance (Oshkosh area). College-age volunteers serve as mentors to these students, meeting with them at their school on a regular basis. Besides being an excellent source of support and encouragement, they advocate for the student, assist with organizational & study skills and provide tutoring. As a positive role model, mentors can demonstrate the connection between regular attendance and academic success.

For more information contact Ruth Mauritz, (mauritz@uwosh.edu or 920-424-2146).
