Training ServicesCCDET is a proven resource that enables employers to reach their goals and priorities. Current Projects Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services (DHFS) CCDET staff, under contract with the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services (DHFS), conduct needs assessments, and then design, develop, and deliver technical training on policy, process, and automation for local Income Maintenance agency staff in Wisconsin. CCDET's innovative training solutions include new worker training, refresher training for experienced staff, and new initiatives training. Training programs developed by CCDET staff feature a variety of delivery methods, including computer-based learning, virtual classrooms, and face-to-face workshops. CCDET staff continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs delivered to gauge impact and look for areas of improvement. Wisconsin Caregiver Project (DHFS)Wisconsin is one of three states to receive federal funding to create and deliver abuse and neglect prevention training for caregivers in long term care settings. The primary goal of the training is to reduce the incidence of abuse, neglect and misappropriation. Wisconsin's innovative training approach utilizes multiple modes of delivery, including an experiential component and a series of topical workshops. This training is designed for direct caregivers and managers in nursing homes, long-term care hospitals, facilities serving people with developmental disabilities, hospices, home health agencies, community based residential facilities and personal care worker agencies. Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) CCDET staff, under contract with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), design, develop and provide training for the classroom and online. Training in policy, procedures, and systems, as well as enhanced case management training is provided to both staff and supervisors in Wisconsin Works (W-2) agencies throughout Wisconsin. W-2 is Wisconsin's TANF program. Funding is made available through DWD. All training activities sponsored by CCDET and DWD are tracked in a Learning Management System.
