Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) CCDET staff design, develop and provide technical training in policy, procedures, and systems as well as non-technical professional development training to both staff and supervisors in social human service and child support agencies throughout Wisconsin. Funding is made available through the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD). For more information on the statewide training program, please go to the DWS Bureau of Partner Services Training Section homepage. Wisconsin Caregiver ProjectWisconsin is one of three states to receive federal funding to create and deliver abuse and neglect prevention training for caregivers in long term care settings. The primary goal of the training is to reduce the incidence of abuse, neglect and misappropriation. Wisconsin's innovative training approach utilizes multiple modes of delivery, including an experiential component and a series of topical workshops. This training is designed for direct caregivers and managers in nursing homes, long-term care hospitals, facilities serving people with developmental disabilities, hospices, home health agencies, community based residential facilities and personal care worker agencies.
