Administrator Training CourseThrough an interagency agreement, the Department of Health Services (DHS) authorized the University of Oshkosh, Center for Career Development and Employability Training (CCDET) to approve the curricula for CBRF assisted living Administrator Training courses. CCDET will coordinate the approval of submitted curricula and qualified trainers, maintain public directories for approved programs, and implement a quality assurance program. Administrator Course Participant Registry Instructor and Curriculum Information Current Assisted Living Administrator Course program, instructor and curriculum application forms are available here: http://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/rl_dsl/CBRF/asstdLvgAdminTrg.htm The DHS Administrator Training Curriculum Criteria is available here: Training Curriculum (PDF) CCDET has developed benchmarks to use in conjunction with the above curriculum criteria to assist in curriculum development. These benchmarks are available here: Benchmarks (PDF) New Instructor and/or Program Fees Program: $1200.00 per program. This includes review of all curriculum and working with program staff to revise portions of curriculum that need improvement, additions, re-write, etc. to meet established BAL standards, not to exceed a period of 3 months. Instructors: Price is based on number of Core Competencies applied to for each instructor.
(Total of $245.00 for an instructor applying for all Core Competencies of entire program) The fee structure to add new instructors to existing programs is the same as above. Administrator Training Courses Renewals: (due every 2 years) Instructors: $10.00 Each instructor will confirm which Core Competencies they are renewing. The $10.00 fee covers only renewal of previously approved competencies/sections held at the time of renewal. Each instructor must complete a minimum of six (6) hours of documented continuing education related to Adult Learning and the core competency approvals held by the instructor.
