Chrissy Lambie
Letters & Science Internship Coordinator/Career Advisor

A life long resident of the Fox Valley, Chrissy Lambie, MSE came to UW Oshkosh in 1996 from Kaukauna, WI to persue a Bachelor's degree. After graduating, in 2001, with a degree in Exercise and Fitness, Ms. Lambie re-enrolled at UW Oshkosh to pursue her Master's degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Higher Education and graduated in 2004.

While attending UW Oshkosh, Ms. Lambie was involved in Softball and played for four years and coached for 2 years. Ms. Lambie was also a Community Advisor in South Scott Hall, Evans Hall and Stewart Community, she also went on to be a Leadership Development Specialist for the Department of Residence Life where she advised student governments. During her graduate school days, Ms. Lambie was an Assistant Hall Director in Fletcher Hall where she advised her Hall Government and worked with staff members.

During, Ms. Lambie's third year of graduate school she started a part time 300 hour/semester internship at Career Services. While completing 600 hours of internship, Ms. Lambie worked with students in the College of Education and Human Services and assisted with resume review and program development in the office.

Following graduation, Ms. Lambie was hired in Career Services where she began working with the College of Letters and Sciences. Upon a staff departure, Ms. Lambie added to her responsibilities by becoming the Internship Coordinator.

A few of the things Ms. Lambie does in the Career Services office include:

  • Advising for the College of Letters and Sciences: Athletic Training, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Environmental Studies, Geography, Medical Technology, Microbiology, Physics, Kinesology & Health, Psychology, Radio/TV/Film, and Theatre
  • Coordinator of Internships for COLS and instructor for the Interdisciplinary Studies 399: Career Internship course
  • Teach each semester a section (or two) of Counselor Education 202: Career Planning & Implementation course (7 week)
  • Faculty Advisor for Circle K service club
  • Faculty Advisor for Walt Disney World College Program
  • Co-chair of the Civic Engagement Committee

In her free time, Ms. Lambie enjoys movies, softball, reading, sudoku, training her two dogs and spending time with friends and family.
