Get Involved

photo2.jpgWhether you would like to be a peer educator, be part of our internship opportunities or are interested in volunteering, there are many ways to get involved in CARE. If you have a busy schedule and can't make big commitments to CARE, don't worry. We still value your help and support.

We hold several events each semester, so if you're interested in helping out or even just attending our events, check out our events tab to see what's coming up.

Meet our Peer Educators!

Emily Jens

My major is Multicultural Studies with minors in African American Studies and Social Justice. I joined CARE to educate myself and others and to complete my African American Studies minor. I love traveling, photography and candy.

Jenell Riesner

 I'm a senior in the College of Business. I love running, working out and watching TV. I joined CARE to help promote and support a great cause.

Hilary Stoeberl

I'm an enthusiastic 19-year-old junior, journalism-public relations major, and a political science minor. I love being a CARE peer educator because I like knowing I'm making a difference and impacting other peoples' lives on campus. To know that everything I'm doing directly makes a difference for such an awesome cause is the best feeling in the world!

Nicole Reader

I am a senior, Human Services major with a Spanish and African American Studies minor. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to music and working out. I became a CARE peer educator to learn ways to raise awareness for dating violence, while promoting healthy relationships. It is great to learn about the many resources that are available today to victims of dating violence. 

Chelsey Wasielewski

I am a Psychology major and Women Studies minor. I love dancing and getting to know new people. I enjoy being a CARE Peer Educator because it is a great way to get involved and promote healthy relationships while spreading awareness with other peer educators who have the same goals as you! 

Kelsey Johnson

I am a Psychology major, Sociology minor. I joined CARE to promote across campus all that CARE stands for. I joined to share personal experiences and help other people to have a better understanding of healthy relationships and what they consist of. I enjoy talking, singing, and doing activities outdoors.

Justine Decorah

I am a junior majoring in psychology. I chose to join CARE because I want to educate people and promote healthy relationships on campus. I enjoy spending time at my lake house with my family and friends.

Marissa Lueck

 I'm a psychology major with a minor in social justice. I joined CARE because I want to bring awareness about issues that may concern our everyday lives as well as come up with solutions.  My other interests are sports, shopping and watching movies.

Ashley Neuhaus

I'm a Psychology major with a Spanish minor. I enjoy coffee, running, and traveling. I joined CARE to help promote healthy relationships on campus.

Kailyn Peters

I am a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Spanish. I joined CARE to educate myself about sexual and domestic violence as well as raise awareness on campus. I hope to someday spread my knowledge I gained from this opportunity to help those in need. During my free time, I love running, reading, baking (especially cupcakes), and spending time with family and friends.

Brooke Berrens

I am a junior majoring in Fine Arts-Design and minoring in Music (vocal emphasis). I enjoy running, photography, traveling, and singing. I joined CARE because I am really passionate about what CARE stands for as well as advocating and informing others.

Kelsey Mueller

I'm a Psychology major and a Social Justice minor with an emphasis in Human Rights. I enjoy staying active and traveling. Promoting healthy relationships and educating others are a few of the many reasons why I joined CARE.
