Tutors & SI
If students want help learning the material presented in their courses, assistance is available in a wide range of places and formats. The Content Tutors list identifies the courses for which CAR has hired tutors. Students who want help in the class can contact a tutor by email and arrange a time to meet in the Center for Academic Resources (Dempsey 317).
The second table lists the Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions provided by CAR, and the Drop-In Tutoring list identifies assistance that is being provided by academic departments at regularly scheduled times. Simply look for the course you want help with, then note the times and places for SI and/or tutoring.
If you want assistance in a course that is not listed in any of the tables, please request a tutor by calling (424-2290), visiting the office (D317), or sending the on-line request form (www.uwosh.edu/car/request.html).
