Student Request for a Tutor

Tutoring Requirements

In order to work with a qualified tutor, you must be enrolled for credit in the class for which you're requesting help. That's the only requirement: CAR helps seniors as well as freshmen, students on the honor roll and those trying to avoid suspension, residents and non-residents, every age -- CAR helps a wide variety of students for a wide variety of reasons.

The Center for Academic Resources hires qualified student tutors based on faculty recommendations, but we do not reveal your name when we ask for those recommendations. Once we have hired a tutor for the class, we'll let you know by email that a tutor is available. This process can take several days, so request a tutor as soon as you realize you would like some assistance. Just fill out the form below and submit it.
