Curriculum Requirements

Courses in general education as well as in the major fulfill this minor.
Students must enroll full-time (one semester) at the University of New Brunswick.

Required courses

Two interdisciplinary core courses (6 credits)
xx• UW Oshkosh: INTRDSCP 245 or 246: Introduction to American Studies 3 cr.
xx• University of New Brunswick: XXX: Introduction to Canadian Culture 3 cr.

INTRDSCP 245 or 246: Introduction to American Studies will focus on the culture of the United States but will explore the culture of Canada.
xx• INTRDSCP 245 is a general education literature course
xx• INTRDSCP 246 is a general education social science course

Elective courses

18 credit hours (9 in upper division)
xx• 9 credit hours focused in US culture
xx• 9 credit hours focused in Canadian culture
