Pictures
of Week 1
This
is Lavenham, a quaint country town dating back to 1400s.
As
night falls, we find the right church at Groton where Dr. O' Shaughnessy,
looking sly as usual, lectures at the tomb of John Winthrop's parents.
Pubbing
at the "Queen's Head." A well deserved stop at the end of a long
day (thank God for English spirits)!
This
is one of the Inns of Court, London, the center of the U.K.'s legal system.
Our
very informative guide, Mr. Robert Wright, Bencher at Lincoln's Inn and
Queen's Counselor, also known as a "silk" because of the right to wear
a silk gown in court. We are very appreciative of him.
