The HMS Warrior of 1860
The HMS Warrior was the first ocean going, iron-hulled armored battleship in the world the largest, fastest and most powerful of its time. Warrior was revolutionary, powered by steam as well as sail and constructed of wrought iron. In a single stroke, all other warhsips were rendered obsolete.
