John M. Minniear

Professor of Music History and Liberal Studies

minniear@uwosh.edu

 Minniear teaches interdisciplinary arts and humanities courses and serves as the Director of the Liberal Studies program. He has directed numerous study abroad tours to Europe and traveled widely in Russia and Egypt. He has lived in Cambridge while serving as a Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University (1984-85) and while directing the UW Oshkosh Cambridge Experience in 2001. His research has dealt extensively with Britain's musical and artistic heritage.

 

Vivian Foss

Instructor of English Composition and Literature

Foss' teaching interests and research center around English Renaissance drama with an emphasis on the life and works of Shakespeare. Her expertise and experience in composition, crossing several disciplines, is a valuable resource for students in the development of their ciritical thinking and writing skills. She has recently directed a literary study tour of England and has traveled widely in Europe, the Mediterranean and the far east.
