Course Syllabus The English Renaissance, 1485-1660 The English Renaissance, 1485-1660 studies the plays, poetry and prose of significant English Renaissance writers. Selections will be made from the writings of More, Spenser, Marlowe, Jonson, Bacon, Donne, the Cavaliers and the Metaphysicals. This course is a perfect complement to the Introduction to Shakespeare as well studies of Tudor England. |
