I am a super-senior English student with one more semester to go. I am ecstatic to be here at Cambridge. Thus far it has surpassed my all my expectations. After graduation I plan to go to graduate school for either English or Comparative Literature. I would absolutely love to come back here. Unfortunately, it's very expensive. So if anyone would like to contribute to a fund to send me to graduate school here, that would be greatly appreciated. Just kidding! We are extremely fortunate to be given this opportunity, and I intend to live it up to the fullest. I truly am loving my experience in England and wish it would never end.

Hello, I'm Adam. I have lived in Wisconsin all my life, and I am majoring in psychology, I believe. I don’t really have much else to say other than if you have the chance to study in a different country, take it. You won’t regret it.
Real friends stab you in the front. -Oscar Wilde
I’m origionally from the very small village of Reedsville, Wi. However I’ve lived in Oshkosh for five years now, studying ceramics and photography as my major courses of study. I wanted to study abroad to add a new dimension to my art and for a different perspective of life. I think I will be great to see how we will grow and incorperate our experiences into our philosophies and lives!
There is this girl named Pamela Lauer. She enjoys painting, drawing, writing and driving her car from her home in the country into the towns of Evansville and Janesville Wi. She discovered her calling as a second year student at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she is an English major with an art minor. She traveled far across the sea to a city called Cambridge in England. While there she is trying her hardest to fulfill her dreams to become Pamela Lauer. Here is to hoping she does.
Hello, I am twenty-two and this is my fifth year at Oshkosh. I will be graduating in the fall of 2000 if everything goes right. My major is Philosophy and I have two minors, one Radio, TV, and Film and the other Religious studies. I currently live in Oshkosh but my family lives on a lake near Waupaca Wisconsin. Ever since I can remember I have always dreamed of going to England, so when the opportunity came up to study and live at Cambridge for a semester I knew I had to go.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by things you didn’t do than by the one’s you did. --Samuel Longhornne Clemens
Hi. I’m 21 years old and in love with God. I’ll be graduating next December with a degree in English, but my true calling is in Philosophy of Religion. Grad school in Theology is a possibility vying against a more reasonable choice: a second degree in Christian Counseling. Cambridge is an attempt to "live deliberately" while I am free enough to take myself and my two modest suitcases anywhere I desire.

I wanted to make my decision to go to England for many reasons. Mostly to broaden my horizons and get some new perspective, but also to have an experience I know I will never have the chance to do again. I had to jump at this opportunity. I still don’t quite know what to expect, though. It is a foreign place and will undoubtedly be like anything I’ve ever encountered before. My ability to adapt will for sure be tested. But, I look forward to it a lot, and I know I will learn and see thins I will not forget as long as I live. The Cambridge program will be the most important educational experience of my life… Melissa is a history major from Appelton Wi. She is in the history club on campus and also in the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She has been doing Tae Kwan Do since she was 9 years old and was also in dance.
Born on July 24, 1976 in a humble houshold, Catherine has enjoyed both sides of the coast for 23 years. Raised in Virginia but presently residing in San Diego, Ca where she is pursuing a M.A. degree in British Literature. She is also a proud member of The Hughes Hall Ladies Drinking Society and enjoys reading a good book anytime, anywhere.
Catherine was drawn to England ever since she heard the story of her great grandmother seeing Queen Victoria riding on a white horse. Cambridge has changed Catherine for the better, and for many years to come.
One dark and stormy night, a kid named Shawn was born. He had this really strange obsession with professional wrestling. He’s also a second year English major who enjoys reading anything but what is assigned for class. He especially likes Stephen King. Some day he’ll be a great teacher (high school or college?) Better, in fact, than the best teacher he has ever had---his dad. He also has a strange infatuation with rap music, which is weird but tolerable. Before he leaves Cambridge he will have converted the group into avid rap fans, and forced everyone to watch pro wrestling with him late at night while consuming mass quantities of alcohol.
Ron is 19, a SWM, who enjoys long walks on the beach, nights at the theatre, and romantic candlelight dinners. He's a cancer who definately has a sensitive side and enjoys poetry, music, and art. Known to be a "friendly" guy, he came on this trip in search of companionship with a possibility for more development later on. He loves kids and is great with pets. Only serious offers please-- once burned, twice shy.
