What Workers Want: Strategies to Attract and Retain Talent

This workshop is perfect for managers, supervisors, business owners or anyone interested in motivating employees, staff or team members and improving the overall effectiveness of their leadership skills.

Recent research suggests that most people are looking to work at a company that has great culture. They want good relationships with their superiors as well as their colleagues and they want to feel appreciated for the work they do. This hands on workshop will give participants insight on how to improve their own working relationships as well as work with others to improve their relationships and help build a more positive organizational culture.

*This is a hands-on  interactive workshop. It will include some pre-work and testing.

Sarah DeArmond Ph.D., Associate Professor, UWO

 

Sarah DeArmond, Ph.D., is Co-Chair of the UW Oshkosh Department of Human Resources and an Associate Professor. She earned her Ph.D. from Colorado State University. Dr. DeArmond's research and consulting interests are in occupational safety and health, job performance, recruiting, training and leadership.
