AeroInnovate is Airborne in Oshkosh
What’s better than a new aviation idea … a whole gaggle of aviation ideas. And where else would you expect to hear the best new industry ideas than Wittman Regional Airport here in Oshkosh, home each summer to AirVenture, the World’s Greatest Airshow.
But there’s a new aviation idea sheriff in Oshkosh … AeroInnovate, where great ideas take flight. AeroInnovate’s not located on the airport. But they’re pretty close, just a mile or so up the road.
Think of AeroInnovate as Oshkosh’s own aviation idea incubator, a place where some of the brightest talent in the region, the nation and from around the globe regularly gather to convince would-be investors that they’ve created the next great aviation mousetrap.
Headquartered in downtown Oshkosh near the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus, AeroInnovate was created in 2007 by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, under the leadership of Director, Meridith Jaeger. AeroInnovate helps aeroinnovators from across the globe who are starting and growing aero-related businesses and bringing related new technologies to the marketplace. Their goal is to facilitate the alignment of passionate, successful “investors” and industry leaders with the best aviation-related opportunities in the world to help get deals done. …..and what better place to do it from than Oshkosh, Wisconsin – home of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
Listen in as Director Meridith Jaeger tells Wittman Airport Radio’s Pete Combs why AeroInnovate is putting our airport on the map .
