Biology and Microbiology Club

Biology and microbiology majors work together to make this a very active club!  Students have brought speakers to UW Oshkosh, involved themselves in community events, provided scholarships and held fundraisers to support their work.  They have even gone whitewater rafting!  The club culminates each school year with a banquet that features a speaker who is well-known in a field of general interest to the students.  Contact the Department of Biology and Microbiology for more information.

Pre Health Professionals of Oshkosh Organization (PHPO)

Pre Health professionals who belong to this organization are electronically linked to a Desire 2 Learn site that advertises upcoming events of interest to Pre Health Professionals.  The site also provides information about advising, coursework, and other items of interest. Students also take field trips and attend seminars.  To enroll, e-mail Dr. Dana Vaughan (vaughan@uwosh.edu) FROM YOUR UWO e-mail account and write PHPO in the subject line.  Write your full name (including middle initial) in the message.  When you are enrolled and have access to the D2L site, you will receive an e-mail of confirmation.
