The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invited the campus and local community to join a day of learning what sustainability and renewable energy can do for their organization and how we can help them achieve their own sustainability goals. In addition, we showcased innovations in sustainability and renewable energy as well as dedicate the nation's first dry fermentation anaerobic biodigester.

UW Oshkosh administrators, staff, students, faculty and friends as well as representatives of BIOFerm Energy Systems and Boldt Construction gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony.
Oshkosh Common Council approves construction of biodigester

UW Oshkosh received approval from the Oshkosh Common Council to build the first dry fermentation anaerobic biodigester in the nation.
Oshkosh Plan Commission approves plans for the biodigester

The UW Oshkosh Foundation and BIOFerm Energy Systems received approval from the Oshkosh Plan Commission after requesting a conditional use permit to construct and operate a renewable energy plant.
