Tutoring Services

The Iota Rho Chapter has been helping the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business Administration with their accounting class tutoring program for several years. Tutoring is available for the entry level financial and managerial (28-204) accounting courses. The service is free of charge to any student currently enrolled in either of those courses. Tutors are available during each of the 14-week semesters starting the second week of the semester (No service is available during interim or official campus breaks). The scheduled times and places for free tutoring are as follows:

Monday - Wednesday from 6:00pm - 9:00pm in Clow Faculty Building room 101

 For those students wishing to receive additional personal tutoring, we would advise you to pursue any of the following:

· Contact Student Support Services in Dempsy Hall (424-1310) to see if you may be eligible to receive tutoring support through the University.

· From time to time, upper level accounting majors are willing to tutor students on their own (for a fee). Contact any of the current officers to see if there are any students who may be interested.

· Show up at a scheduled chapter meeting, and ask that the President include you in the new business of the meeting so that you may be given a chance to personally ask for help. (Although the most intimidating method, most of the students who have received personal help in the past have made a personal appeal for the assistance)
