Understanding Job Requirements:  Knowing their job descriptions and comprehending what the job entails.
The employee understands the purpose of the service area and understands the scope of the job.     
Does not understand the service area and seems unsure of the job requirements.                   
Knowledge of Policies:  Understanding the policies or the manner in which work is to be completed.     Employee knows policies and procedures regarding his/her job; strives to maintain awareness of updates and changes in procedures.
Does not know policies and procedures of the job.  Employee may ask repeatedly how to complete the task because he/she does not remember the procedure.
Enforces or Follows Policies/Procedures: Using or enforcing rules or guidelines for the job.
Employee acts and completes work according to established guidelines.  He/she can interpret the policies, and depending on the situation, uses good judgement as to the level of enforcement.                    Does not follow procedures and policies.  (Example: bends the rules for him/herself or friends, but not for other people.)  When he/she does not use good judgement in either enforcing or not enforcing rules, this results in negative consequences to the organization.                   
Quality of Work: The level of performance at which work is completed by employee. Work is done consistently well and in a complete fashion.  The work rarely has to be redone.                    Work out-put or product is less than what the job requirements are. 
Efficiency: The ability to complete work without wasting time or energy.  
Work is completed quickly.  Can prioritize their jobs so that they most important tasks are completed first.
Cannot prioritize job tasks, usually runs out of time and/or does not complete the most important tasks first.
Accuracy: He/She makes few or no errors and is always precise, regardless of time Employee always completes all manifests or forms correctly.  Employee always handles money and makes change correctly.
Makes mistakes on forms or manifests, and with cash (making change).
Attendance: To be at work during scheduled times or has makde arrangements for replacement. 
Employee is always at work during regular scheduled times, substitute shifts, and attends all staff meetings.            
Employee is not at work during scheduled times and does not attend staff meetings.                
Promptness: On time and ready to begin work for his/her shift. Consistently arrives at work early, being at the job to have adequate time to change shifts (counting money). 
Arrives at work or staff meetings late. 
Responsibility: Accountable for decisions and actions, willingness to respond or accept responsibility, reliable.     
Having confidence and trust in the employee's ability to carry out tasks.
The employee does not "pull his/her weight" in the organization.  Often leaves work for others and cannot trust the employee to complete a task.
Commitment: The degree of dedication to the organization and the desire to be interested in it.  
Desires to learn more about the organization.  Has a good attitude about working for the Student Union.    
Does not care about the organization, sees work as drudgery.
