Fun facts to know about being an Art Major at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

There are over 300 majors in the Art Department and about 80% of them are Fine Arts majors (BFA).
There are over 50 minors in the Art Department.

Some studios are always open, others have special hours - check with the instructor.
Art Offices are AC 325 & 322.
The Chair's Office is AC 328 and the majority of faculty are on the 5th floor.
Storage lockers are free for majors, located in the basement. They must be registered in the Art Office (AC 322). Select a locker, put a lock on it, and then register.
There are three art galleries on campus, two are housed in the Arts and Communication Center. See Galleries
The Art Department has a computer lab for students in Design courses that houses 20 Apple iMac, 27-inch, 2.06Hz Intel Core 2 Duo workstations. Check out our Design Area for more information on the specifics of the Computer Lab.

The Art Department sponsors a field trip during most semesters. It is usually to Chicago and is a great way to see many works of art firsthand.
