Design students also make significant use of the art department's computer lab, which boasts 20 Apple iMacs, 27-inch, 2.06Hz Intel Core 2 Duo workstations, copies of the latest version of Adobe's Creative Suite, and two flatbed, tabloid-sized scanners. Design students individually receive their own personal storage space on the department's file server, which is backed up nightly and is accessible from any computer with an Internet connection. In addition, area classrooms have convenient access to a resource center, copy machine and other graphics equipment and tools.
