Gail D. Panske is a Professor of Art at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she teaches printmaking and is currently serving as Department Chair. She received a MFA from Indiana University and a BFA from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Panske is the recipient of an Arts Midwest/National Endowment for the Arts, Individual Artist Fellowship, a Vander Putten International Fund grant and eight Faculty Development Program Grants. She has exhibited her work widely in numerous regional, national and international exhibitions including the recent solo exhibition, Isle Royale Mirage II, at ArtSpace Collective in Oshkosh Wisconsin; recent juried exhibitions: Art of Democracy 2012, The Sacred Gallery, New York, New York; In, On, or Of Paper, Paper Circle Arts, Nelsonville, Ohio; Inked Surfaces, at Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hills, California, Los Angles Printmakers 19th Exhibition, Riverside Art Museum, Riverside, California and The Wisconsin Artists Biennial, Anderson Art Center, Kenosha, Wisconsin. Recent invitational venues include the traveling exhibition organized by the University of Wyoming Metal Inkcorporated, and Print Invitational, Miller Art Museum, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. She has also recently been an artist-in-resident at the Jentel Foundation, Frans Marereel Centrum, Isle Royale National Park and Brush Creek Foundation For The Arts.
