Student Employment
The art department hires students to work in the art galleries as attendants (work-study is necessary), computer lab assistants, and as lab assistants in the many art labs. Duties vary according to lab assignment, but may include:
- preparing materials for class;
- helping maintain an organized lab;
- monitoring safety; and
- miscellaneous duties as assigned by the instructor
An art background is often helpful. When positions are available, they are posted on TitanJobs in the first few weeks of classes.
