Foundations
There are 5 Foundation courses that are common to all Art majors, Fine Art majors, and Art minors:
- Art 109 - Art History Survey I
- Art 110 - Art History Survey II
- Art 111 - Drawing I
- Art 112 - 2D Design
- Art 114 - 3D Design
These courses are required and a prerequisite for all upper level studio courses. It is VERY important to get these done as soon as possible to not delay your program.
Upon completion of the Studio Foundation courses (Art 111, Art 112, and Art 114), the Post Foundation Portfolio Review is required for all majors. Passing the PFPR is required to graduate with a degree in Art and to take 400 level courses. Visit the Post Foundation Portfolio Review page for more information.
