At Sunrise a national salute of thirty-on (sic) guns.

At 10 o’ clock, a procession will be formed near the Liberty Pole, and proceed … to the grove on Doty’s Island where the Declaration will be read by B.S. Heath, and an Oration pronounced by Geo. B. Goodwin Esq. accompanied with appropriate ceremonies.

After the exercises of the day, Dinner will be served in the grove where there will be opportunities to those who take a part in the celebration, to obtain refreshments and interchange sentiments.

In the evening there will be a grand display of fire works.
