The Menasha History: Change Over Time website seeks to provide 3 rd grade history teachers accessible primary sources with which to teach Menasha history. While the subject areas were selected through consultation with teachers, several proposed topics could not be pursued due to a lack of appropriate materials available. Please visit the “teacher resources” section for guides to the content, lesson plans and activities.

Research materials were drawn from the Menasha Historical Society, the Elisha Smith Public Library, Neenah Historical Society, the UW Oshkosh Archives and Area Research Center and the Wisconsin Historical Society.

This project was funded by a contribution from the federal Teaching American History Grant Project administered jointly by Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 6, located in Oshkosh , and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh 's Department of History.
