Douglas Kahl: Reuse

February 3 to February 18, 2012  Artist Reception:  Thursday, February 16, 6:30-8 pm

The goal of an architect is not only to create pleasing and interesting buildings, but to also engage the populations those buildings are intended for. The work in this exhibit is meant to act as an example for how a city, such as Oshkosh, that has vacant buildings and issues of isolation may attempt to make changes towards improvement.

Michelle Grabner is an artist and writer. Professor and Painting and Drawing Department Chair at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she has also taught at the University of Wisconsin Madison, Cranbrook Academy of Art, Yale University, and the University of Pennsylvania.  Michelle is the juror for our 3rd Annual National Juried Exhibition which is being held in the Allen Priebe Gallery.
