U.W. Oshkosh Anthropological Club Secretary’s Report
The meeting 2007-2008, summer, of the U. W. Oshkosh Anthropological Club, met Tuesday July twenty four, two thousand and seven at the New Moon café. Time of meeting was at 1:00pm. Attendance: The meeting included 3 attendants all of which were officers. Meetings Topic: The topics of the meeting were brief. We all decided to put a hold on fundraising until we had more information from the OAS as far as if they could give us funds to work with in the beginning of our fundraising adventure. We also need more student involvement in order to be successful with a project such as this. We decided to have our first Anthropology meeting the third week of class. We will ask the Anthropology department for names of Anthropology students to do a mass mail to let them know we will be having a meeting and to let them know we will be raffling off a current Anthropology t-shirt at this meeting for those attending the meeting. We would also like to introduce our new professor at this time Professor Stephanie Spehar if her schedule permits this of course. The meeting was closed for the summers end until the first meeting in fall unless something should arise and the officers can be contacted respectively through email.
