Student Alumni Ambassadors
The UW Oshkosh Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) are a vital link between current campus life and University alumni and friends. It is an organization dedicated to promoting UW Oshkosh and building pride among fellow students, alumni and the community.
Sharing the Titan spirit
SAA members immerse themselves in the campus scene, attending many University events and networking with numerous professionals. You may find them mingling in a crowd, hosting a table of guests, providing tours or speaking positively about the UW Oshkosh experience. But, most importantly, they help keep alumni in touch with University happenings and ensure students are aware of their roles as future alumni.
Are you interested in becoming an SAA member or do you know of a great candidate who
might be up to the challenge? If so, we want and need your support. We are looking for students who are:
- Responsible
- Enthusiastic
- Personable
- Outgoing
- Friendly
- Able to multi-task
- Able to work under pressure
- Good community citizens
In addition, possible SAA candidates must:
- Maintain good academic standing
- Commit to serving SAA for at least one year
- Serve at a minimum of two events per semester
- Attend regular meetings
- Be willing to assist the Alumni and Foundation offices with special projects
- Attend one training session each semester
- Provide guidance and support for first-year members
- Respond to e-mail requests within 24 hours
