Green Medicine tells the story of University of Wisconsin Oshkosh biology major Sitha Thor and the plants, the “green medicine” of the Hmong people.

What began as a simple story of a young man and his research turned into a heart-rending and inspirational tale about science, family traditions, honor, sacrifice, peace and war. Join us for an evening of discovery as Grace Lim and her journalism students present Green Medicine: From the Mountains of Laos to the Labs at UW Oshkosh, a multimedia, cross-cultural project.
This event include a short video in the Reeve Union Theatre and a photo exhibit in the Steinhilber Gallery, as well as a 28-page magazine.
