  • Michael Bertram (B) of Oshkosh was honored as Inexperienced Associate of the Year for 2007 by Strategic Wealth Management Group, LLC. (6-1-08)
  • Greg Flanagan (LS) and Marie Martin (LS) ’01 recently became engaged and reside in Minneapolis, where Greg is project manager at Internet Broadcasting and Marie is a senior editor with the USDA’s North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program. (5-1-08)
  • Darlene Ramsey '00 (EHS) and '02 (MSE) is a teacher for the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention programs. (5-1-08)
  • Kevin Ulwelling (LS), who resigned as athletics director at Newman University, has a management position with Midwest Single Source, a Wichita-based business. (5-1-08)

2001

  • Kimberly (Vogt) Anderson (LS) and husband, Kyle, welcomed their first child, Lucas, Aug. 6. (5-1-08)
  • Carrie (Krisak) Baylis (LS) will graduate from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysberg with a Masters of Divinity. On March 8, she and Philip had their first child, Emmy Lorraine Baylis. (5-1-08)
  • Amy (Glasheen) Behrendt (LS) and husband, Jerry, welcomed their first child, Peyton, May 2. (5-1-08)
  • Wil Krautkramer (EHS) is the Menasha High School girls’ varsity soccer coach. (5-1-08)
  • Robert Reeves (B) works in engineering at Manitowoc Ice Inc. He married Laura (Tomchek) Reeves in July. (5-1-08)
  • Lisa Saunders (EHS), ordained to the holy order of priests in the Episcopal Church in December, serves at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C. (5-1-08)
  • Arthur Schultz (EHS), who completed his student teaching overseas, now manages three departments at Roxby Downs Schools in Australia. (5-1-08)

2002

  • Kris Achterberg (LS) is a purchasing manager at Curwood, a division of Bemis, in Oshkosh. (5-1-08)
  • Kelly (Hauschildt) Butzen (LS) of Oshkosh, husband Carl, and daughter, Sarah, welcomed a baby boy, Carl Levi, into their family on Feb. 12. (6-1-08)
  • Jaclyn (Dorner) Fauk (B), who relocated to Denver, Colo., joined Coors Brewing Company as supply chain manager. (5-1-08)
  • Erik Leiter (LS) and Nicole (Fowler) Leiter ’97 (LS) welcomed a son, Carson, in September. (5-1-08)
  • Kathryn MacLean (LS) recently was published as first author on an article in the Journal of Family Practice Re-Certification. The topic of the article was mobility counseling and physician involvement in the process of driving cessation. MacLean graduated in August with a master’s in social work from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Mo. (5-1-08)
  • Tim Milbrath (LS) and Allie Orzech ’04 (LS) were married in September in Waukesha. They reside in Milwaukee, where Tim works for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Allie for Stark Investments. (5-1-08)
  • Rosette (Buening) Morrey (N) of Waterloo, Iowa, was recently nominated and selected for an “IWON”, Iowa Wheaton Outstanding Nurse award for 2008. Rosette and husband Jim also welcomed Grace Elizabeth into the family in July to join big sister Kylie Rose. (6-1-08)
  • Rebecca Scipior (N), a unit supervisor at Missions Hospitals in Asheville, N.C., is a mother of two. (5-1-08)
  • Jonathan Weir (LS), who started his own video production company in 2004, is producing training videos for construction projects throughout eastern Wisconsin. (5-1-08)

  • Sada (Mertes) Kempf (LS) is marketing senior associate with Clifton Gunderson in Oshkosh. (5-1-08)
  • Laura (Hahn) Palzkill (LS), who graduated from UW-Whitewater with a master’s degree in corporate communication in August, married Chad Palzkill and works for the American Cancer Society in Pewaukee. (5-1-08)
  • Sheria (Grice) Robinson (N), who completed a dual master’s program in nursing and health administration, was promoted within Hospice of Michigan’s corporate offices as a project specialist. (5-1-08)
  • Katie Tenpas (B), who works as a marketing coordinator for Signicast Corp., recently was engaged to Scott Draeger. (5-1-08)
  • Jayne (Steffek) Vosters (EHS) and husband Troy welcomed their first daughter, Abigail, in October. Jayne graduated magna cum laude from Marian College in 2007 with a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. She is a high school history teacher in the Kimberly Area School District. (5-1-08)

2004

  • Tania (Weiler) Davis (EHS) of Athens and her husband Kyle are expecting a little girl in June. Her daughter, Desirae, 6, is looking forward to helping out as the big sister. (5-1-08)
  • Krisstina (Justinger) Ebner (LS) and (B) joined the business practice group for Godfrey & Kahn in the firm’s Milwaukee office. She received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School. (5-1-08)
  • Jamie (Supita) Mandigo (LS), in her last year of dental school at Marquette University, plans to join the practice of her father, Dr. Joel Supita ’77 (LS). (5-1-08)
  • Rebekah (Weiss) Sell (LS), a freelance designer, moved with her husband and daughter to her family’s farm to begin their dream of creating an organic, family-friendly operation that produces grass-fed poultry, eggs, milk and high-end cheeses. (5-1-08)

2005

  • Gale Dobratz (LS) is a marketing consultant for Big Apple Bagels’ corporate office in Chicago. (5-1-08)
  • Korey Feiner (LS) from Sun Prairie will be the catcher for the Timber Rattlers for 2008.  (5-1-08)
  • Paul Gordon (LS) and Jennifer Zobrak ’06 (B) were married Sept. 29. Paul works for Horizon Fitness, while Jennifer works for Duluth Trading Company in Madison. (5-1-08)
  • Colleen (Reilly) Kasmarick (LS) and Joel Kasmarick were married in July in Mequon. (5-1-08)
  • Melissa (Tredo) LaFountain (EHS) is a teacher at Shawano Middle School. She is a cancer survivor, mother of 1-year-old Nolan, and widow of husband Joseph who passed away in a motorcycle accident. (5-1-08)
  • Kristin Schaller (LS), who graduated from UW-La Crosse with a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology, is employed in cardiac rehabilitation at St. Joseph’s Baptist Hospital in Tampa, Fla. (5-1-08)
  • Melissa (Cichy)Van Wie (B) is expecting her first child on June 9th. (5-1-08)
  • Eden Weller (B) is a customer and market research analyst at J. J. Keller & Associates Inc. in Neenah. (5-1-08)

2006

  • Edja (Peto) Graunke (B) and Dale Graunke welcomed daughter Eva Lynn in August. (5-1-08)
  • Jay Shambeau (MPA) has been selected as the County Administrator for Calumet County. (6-1-08)
  • Jeffery Shimon (LS) will be celebrating his two-year anniversary with the Baraboo Police Department in June. He is a patrol officer. (5-1-08)
  • Laura (Dibley) Steinbacher (MBA) recently married Leroy Steinbacher and moved to Rochester, N.Y., for a promotion to associate brand manager of Voila with Birds Eye Foods. (5-1-08)
  • Lauren Young (EHS) teaches in the Desert Sands School District in La Quinta, Calif., at one of the largest high schools in the Coachella Valley. (5-1-08)

2007

  • Shannon Doty (LS) is a member of the 332nd Rear Operations Center, Area Support Group based in Berlin, where she got involved with supporting Iraqi schools by humanitarian aid collected throughout Wisconsin. (5-1-08)
  • Douglas Rozelman (LS) participated in the inaugural Louisville Ironman Triathlon in May. He completed the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run in 12 hours, 58 minutes and six seconds to finish 14th in his age group. (5-1-08)
  • Amanda Wolf (LS), who began the physician associate program at Yale University last fall, will marry Joseph Olsen in June. (5-1-08)
