We had a delightful gathering of the Oshkosh Alumni in The Villages at the Red Sauce Restaurant located at the Sumpter Landing Square. There were 21 that attented and 19 had dinner. Jerry welcomed the group and made several announcements, he turned the meeting over to Linda Boilini to address the group about our alumni groups across the country.
We had Jon and Nancy Wellhoefer join us for the first time because they saw the announcement in the Village Newspaper. Megan Parson also came to The Villages from Orlando. Linda Cotton received a call from Dr. Wilma Isenberger Schultz from Leesburg who read about the Florida event in the Orlando Sentinel Leesburg edition. She worked at the college from 1958-1960 as the head of women's phy ed department that was just getting started at the time. "Soon to be 90 years old, unable to attend or didn't want to be added to the database to get information, but wanted to say hello to all that will attend and she thinks it's just great that you get together!"
