5. Creating my own schedule
- For the most part I can determine when my main time commitments are. I choose which classes to take at what time and am fortunate enough to set my work hours. I imagine this will not be the case once I get a full-time job.
4. Campus facilities
- I will no longer be able to play basketball at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC). I won’t have access to computer equipment (creative programs) or be able to attend some campus events for free.
3. Collection of centralized resources
- If you need to know something or are seeking an opinion, there’s a good chance you’ll find it at UW Oshkosh. No more library Web site access, career services or free newspapers on campus!
2. Holidays and breaks from school
- Oshkosh provides longer breaks than any other UW System school. Breaks always give me something to look forward to. In the working world, especially in the first part of my career I probably won’t have many vacation hours.
1. People and the faces of UW Oshkosh
- I will most certainly miss the backbone of this University, its people. The connections I’ve made with professors, professionals, friends, co-workers, etc. will be hard to physically leave. Of course, my goal is to stay as connected to these people as possible.
