Firsts and Lasts
My fingers trembled holding my camera in the rainy — and might I add — freezing, fall weather. I wore a thin, plastic poncho and shuffled around with my big camera bag. I was photographing the Homecoming game.
Fans cheered on their favorite players. Body parts were marked with team numbers.
As exciting as this game was, with the Titans beating the Pioneers 41 to 14, I’d have to shyly admit that this was the first Homecoming game I’d ever been to. What’s even sadder is that this will be my last Homecoming game as an undergraduate student.
I’ll be graduating in less than three months, but there are still things to be completed here at UW Oshkosh before I go. So similar to what I did during the game, I’m going to focus.
