Because They Had Talented Professors
Between classes the other day, I stepped into the Allen Priebe Art Gallery ... not quite sure what I'd see. Sometimes I wonder about how there are so many artistic students here at UW Oshkosh, and the moment I stepped into the gallery I realized why.
In a section of the room there were intricate figures that looked to be made of phone books. There were personal journals hanging on the wall. Paintings and statues, including one with a dress made of rubber, surrounded the room. This was a showcase of the work of the UW Oshkosh Art Department Faculty.
The exhibition is simply amazing.
