Becoming an Alum
UW Oshkosh student photographer See Xiong '11 takes us on a visual journey of her last semester as a Titan. She is set to graduate in January 2011, following a three-week interim class.

Xiong is majoring in journalism with an emphasis in advertising and public relations and minoring in radio-TV-film. She serves as a student photographer with UWO Integrated Marketing and Communications and public relations director for the Oshkosh Student Association.
Walking
I adjusted my graduation cap and looked all around me. There were hundreds of friends and family members snapping pictures and cheering on their graduates. Right before the commencement ceremony began, I quickly took my cellphone out to text my sister. "Where are you guys sitting?"
Final Projects and Final Exams
Parking around campus will be a challenge and the library will be filled this week. That's how you know that it's nearing the end of the semester.
Because They Had Talented Professors
Between classes the other day, I stepped into the Allen Priebe Art Gallery ... not quite sure what I'd see. Sometimes I wonder about how there are so many artistic students here at UW Oshkosh, and the moment I stepped into the gallery I realized why.
Even Superheroes Need a Break
Sometimes I wish it were just a little bit warmer out so that I could plop myself underneath a tree with a good read.
An Education Isn't Easy
In times of exhaustion and lack of motivation, I frequently turn to quotes for inspiration.
Firsts and Lasts
My fingers trembled holding my camera in the rainy — and might I add — freezing, fall weather. I wore a thin, plastic poncho and shuffled around with my big camera bag. I was photographing the Homecoming game.

Today, I'm taking the day off from school (but still working hard!) and attending the PR+SM Summit at Marquette University in Miwaukee, Wis. Check my twitter @ShaneArman for tons of tweets that give you insight into what happened at this event. For now here's my take/summary of one very interesting presentation.

Video Blog: Magic Friday at IMC
While the echo of Magic Friday sometimes lingered around the integrated marketing office during the recent hiatus of magic, Fri. March 12, 2010 marked a bold return and I have evidence to prove it.
Feeling the pressure of the countdown
Writing a graduation speech is hard enough, but having the pressure of being a first-generation college student makes the task even more challenging.
