Matthew A. Johnson

Matthew A. Johnson, founder and owner of Strive Media Institute, a foundation that started in 1990 out of his home as a teen television show and drug prevention program.  Strive Media became a means of formally training high school students in mass communication.  Strive’s students participate in an accredited program after school and on weekends and upon their high school graduation, they receive a scholarship to the university of their choice.  One hundred percent of Strive’s graduates have gone on to a four-year college or university.
