Spring 2009 Mandatory Group Advising

This is spring MANDATORY for all freshmen and new students (including new transfers).

·         If your first semester at UW Oshkosh started in Fall 08 or Spring 09, this is mandatory for you!

·         If you attended the Fall 08 “Pre-business Expo in October 08; YES, you also need to attend this one.

·         You must attend one of these sessions or a hold will be put on your record so you will be unable to register for fall semester courses.

During these sessions, you will learn:

o   How to read the details of your STAR and understand your graduation requirements

o   About registering for fall 09 and spring 2010

o   Where to find pre-requisites for courses

o   How to use academic resources

How do I sign up?

·         It’s first come first serve.  Register early! There are many sessions, however if you register late, you will be limited on your choices!  You can go and register for a session at http://admissions.uwosh.edu/cob/

·         Once you have registered on -line, you will receive confirmation through your UW Oshkosh email. You must attend your registered session.

·         You can only register one session!  If you must change your session, please do so ASAP, but at least 48 hours prior to your session by emailing pal@uwosh.edu , but remember you will have limited choices if the other sessions are full.
