WILL MY PREVIOUSLY EARNED CREDITS TRANSFER TO UW-OSHKOSH?
Credits earned at other accredited colleges and universities are evaluated on the basis of transcripts submitted as part of admissions credentials. The admissions office, in consultation with the college or program area at
UW-Oshkosh, determines the extent to which courses accepted in transfer apply to degree and program requirements. Undergrad students can determine how courses taken at a University of Wisconsin System two-year or four-year university will transfer to UW-Oshkosh. Check the websites www.uwsa.edu/tis, or access this information through the UW-Oshkosh homepage, www.uwosh.edu.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY OUT-OF-STATE OR PRIVATE SCHOOL CREDITS WILL TRANSFER?
You can compare course descriptions from other institutions to see if they meet the same criteria as those offered at UW-Oshkosh. If you are still unsure, then you must apply to UW-Oshkosh to receive an official credit evaluation.
WHO ARE NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENTS?
Non-traditional students are typically those who do not live on campus, are returning to school after some time off, have other responsibilities to work around (e.g., family, part/full-time jobs), and/or just want to take a course for the pleasure of learning.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A DEGREE?
