For students wishing to stay involved with music in college, including those seeking a career in a diverse and challenging field. UW Oshkosh Music Department offers a number of music degree programs, including Music Education, Performance, Music Business, Recording Technology and Composition. A minor is also offered for those wishing to stay involved with music, but with a major in a different area.

Come check out a free opportunity to learn more about the Music Department at UW Oshkosh! At Music Preview Day, you will have the opportunity to:

Play along with ensemble rehearsals
Receive group lessons led by our faculty for the instrument of your choice

You will also enjoy a classroom simulation, learn about careers in music and tips for your college auditions. To round out your day, enjoy a complimentary lunch and learn more about UW Oshkosh on a campus tour.

Some limited quantities of larger instruments are available for loan at UWO and are indicated in the list below. If you choose to use a UWO instrument, please make sure to bring mouthpieces, reeds, etc., Storage space will be available for your personal instruments when you are attending non-playing sessions.
