Individual Campus Visit

We invite you, your family and friends to experience UW Oshkosh in person. You will see our excellent facilities, meet current students, and have the opportunity to talk with an admissions counselor.

Schedule your visit online.

What Does a Campus Visit and Tour Involve?

You will meet individually with an admissions counselor who will answer your questions about academics, admissions procedures and college life. You also will take a campus tour led by a UW Oshkosh student ambassador that includes a look at a residence hall, stops at our state-of-the-art Student Recreation and Wellness Center and Sage Hall, and visits to the Reeve Union.

Admissions counselor appointments are held 30 minutes prior to and immediately following campus tours. Campus tours last approximately 90 minutes from start to finish. So, wear comfortable walking shoes.

Saturday Visit Opportunities

If a Saturday visit is more convenient for your schedule, we're open most Saturdays, September through May, from 9 a.m. to noon. An admissions counselor will conduct a presentation and offer a question and answer period starting at 10 a.m. A student-led campus tour starts at 10:30 a.m. You can register for a Saturday visit using our online registration form.

Transfer Visit Days

We also offer specialized Saturday visit opportunities exclusively for transfer students. These visit opportunities include a presentation and question and answer period offered by a transfer admissions counselor. A student-led tour tailored to the needs of transfer students is also available.

Dates available for the spring semester include:

  • Saturday, April 6, 2013

To learn more or schedule a visit, please call (920) 424-3164.

Register Online

Please try to schedule your visit at least seven days in advance. This allows us time to confirm availability and send, via U.S. mail, a confirmation letter, driving directions to campus and a parking permit.

We will do our best to honor your visit request if you schedule less than seven days in advance of your anticipated visit. However, due to the limited time frame for visits scheduled less than seven days in advance, confirmation will be sent by email or FAX.

Construction and Detours

The city of Oshkosh and the UW Oshkosh campus are major construction sites. You will want to plan your travel to allow extra time. Highway 41 is a major construction zone with some access routes closed.

Stay up-to-date on construction news and road closures by accessing the Highway 41 Project website and city of Oshkosh website.

Come on, take a drive by...

Enjoy this video showcasing parts of campus to the tune of UW Oshkosh Admissions' parody version of Train's "Drive By" -- created entirely by current UW Oshkosh students. You might have one of these students as your campus tour guide!
