Individual Campus Visit
Campus tours are often cited by current students as being the No. 1 factor in helping them make a decision on where to attend college. Visits give you the opportunity to see first-hand what the campus is like, what the other students are like and if you can see yourself being comfortable there.
We love UW Oshkosh and really think you will too. Schedule your visit online now to see our beautiful, sustainable campus for yourself — and you'll also have the chance to talk to current students and meet with an admissions counselor to discuss your academic goals. Can't wait to meet you!
* Please try to schedule your visit at least seven days in advance. This allows us time to confirm availability and send, via U.S. mail, a confirmation letter, driving directions to campus and a parking permit.
We will do our best to honor your visit request if you schedule less than seven days in advance of your anticipated visit. However, due to the limited time frame for visits scheduled less than seven days in advance, confirmation will be sent by email.
What does a weekday campus visit and tour involve?
PERSONALIZED COUNSELOR APPOINTMENT: You will meet individually with an admissions counselor who will answer your questions about academics, admissions procedures and college life. These appointments are recommended and are held 30 minutes prior to and immediately following campus tours.
STUDENT-LED CAMPUS TOUR: You also will take a campus tour led by a UW Oshkosh student
that includes a look at a residence hall, stops at our state-of-the-art
Student Recreation and Wellness Center and Sage Hall, and visits to the Reeve Union. Tours typically last 90 minutes from start to finish and are offered rain, shine or 30 below, so please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress accordingly.
Are there Saturday visit opportunities?
Yes! If a Saturday visit is more convenient for your schedule, we're open most Saturdays, September through May, from 9 a.m. to noon. An admissions counselor will conduct a presentation and offer a question and answer period starting at 10 a.m. A student-led campus tour starts at 10:30 a.m.
Transfer Visit Days
We also offer specialized Saturday visit opportunities exclusively for transfer students. These visit opportunities include a presentation and question and answer period offered by a transfer admissions counselor. A student-led tour tailored to the needs of transfer students is also available.
Transfer visit days for spring 2015 include:
- February 7, 2015
- March 7, 2015
- May 2, 2015
To sign up for a Transfer visit day, fill out the visit form for that specific day and indicate you are a transfer student. We will automatically add you to the visit list.
