Must have a strong interest in Geology or Earth Science
Be a new freshman
Be admitted to UW Oshkosh
Submit ACT scores
Have a strong academic record, particularly in science and math
Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from science teachers
Submit an essay of 500 words or less discussing your interest in Geology or Earth Science and your career goals
Winners must enroll in two (2) introductory Geology classes during the freshman year—one each in fall and spring
