Be a new freshman

Must be a biology, microbiology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, geology or psychology major

Must submit a description of a science project or a research paper which indicates your ability to work independently

Have a strong academic record

In accord with the donor’s desire to encourage more African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans and females to enter the sciences, preference will be given to applicants from those groups
