Diversity and Inclusivity

UW Oshkosh believes that a university community connects the perspectives and backgrounds of diverse social and academic groups of people. To meet this aim, a university community must be inclusive in its composition and support a civil atmosphere and a tolerant environment for learning. Center for Academic
Support and Diversity (CASD)

CASD assists the University in the recruitment, enrollment, retention and graduation of multicultural and disadvantaged students, through a variety of collaborative programs, services and outreach activities.

Multicultural Retention Programs provide support services to help increase the recruitment, matriculation, enrollment, retention and graduation of multicultural and disadvantaged students.

Multicultural Education Center is a multipurpose resource center that promotes and celebrates diversity on campus and in the greater Oshkosh area.

Student Voices

Student Support Services promotes the retention and graduation of first generation students, students from financially-disadvantaged backgrounds and students with disabilities.

PreCollege Programs prepare middle and high school students of color and students from financially-disadvantaged backgrounds for post-secondary education.

LGBTQ Resource Center

The LTBTQ Resource Center works to create awareness across campus and the community by identifying and responding to the concerns and needs of LGBTQ students, staff, faculty and allies.
