Midwest Student Exchange Program
What is it?
The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) allows students in participating states outside Wisconsin to attend UW Oshkosh with reduced tuition. The goal of the program is to provide affordable opportunities for students to attend out-of-state institutions.
Tuition Costs
Current annual undergraduate tuition for Wisconsin residents at UW Oshkosh is $7,360. MSEP students pay only $10,346. Compared to the typical out-of-state annual tuition of $14,934 – you save more than $4,500 in tuition as an MSEP student!
Participating States
States that participate in the program include:
- Illinois
- Indiana
- Kansas
- Michigan
- Missouri
- Nebraska
- North Dakota
Welcome Illinois!
This is the first year that Illinois students are participating in the MSEP! If you're from Illinois and have not considered UW Oshkosh before due to costs – schedule a visit and come see us.
If you're from the Chicago area, UW Oshkosh is about 160 miles north – or a three-hour drive. It provides just enough distance to establish yourself, while still not being so far away that it is impossible to make it home in a hurry if you need to.
Why Take Advantage of MSEP?
MSEP allows you to choose a school that will best prepare you for your future. UW Oshkosh offers more than 60 undergraduate majors, as well as many options for minors and emphases to help you select the perfect program.
