Student Technology Fee Committee
The Student Technology Fee Committee shall consist of the following members:
8 Students appointed by the Oshkosh Student Association (7 voting, 1 non-voting)
1 Faculty appointed by the Faculty Senate
1 Academic staff appointed by the Senate of Academic Staff
1 Classified Staff appointed by Classified Staff Advisory Council
1 Committee advisor appointed by the Chancellor (non-voting)
Of the 8 student members, one must be a graduate student. Students are appointed for one-year terms. Other members are appointed for three-year terms.
A chairperson is elected from the student members at the end of the Spring Semester. The chairperson is a non-voting member who will serve as chair for the next Academic Year.
The meeting schedule is set each year to fit the members’ schedules as best it can. Meetings are typically in the afternoons. The committee typically meets two times in the Fall Semester and weekly during most of the Spring Semester.
