Websense Affects Internet Performance 07-10-2013 1-1:30 PM
On July 10, 2013 during the noon hour a high priority issue related to Internet outage was affecting a large portion of the UW - Oshkosh campus.
When the scope of the problem was discovered, the web-proxy environment was taken offline around 1:15pm to restore Internet access to the campus.
When a fix was published by the web proxy vendor, it was deployed and the web-proxy environment was brought back online around 4:50pm. We apologize for the inconvenience.
